Your data rights under the GDPR
You have the following rights regarding the personal data Fixender holds about you:
- Access — ask for a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Restriction — ask us to stop processing your data while a dispute is resolved.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent — revoke any consent you previously gave (this does not affect prior lawful processing).
How to exercise your rights
Send your request to [email protected] from the email address associated with your account, including:
- Which right you wish to exercise.
- Enough information for us to identify your account or data (your registered email is usually sufficient).
- Any preferred response format.
We will respond within one month of receiving your request, as required by Article 12.3 of the GDPR. Complex requests may be extended by two further months, in which case we will inform you within the first month.
Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe Fixender has infringed your data-protection rights, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Authority (AEPD): https://www.aepd.es/.
You may also seek a judicial remedy under Article 79 of the GDPR.
Identity verification
To prevent unauthorised disclosure, we may ask for additional information to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will keep this verification data only as long as necessary to process your request.
