Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 30 April 2026
Fixender is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, including users with disabilities. This statement describes the accessibility status of fixender.com and how to report issues.
1. Conformance status
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This is the level required by the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and Spanish Real Decreto 193/2023 for consumer-facing online services.
Conformance is currently partial: the platform has been designed and tested against AA but has known limitations (listed below). Work is ongoing to close these.
2. Measures taken
- Keyboard navigation works on all interactive elements; a focus indicator (3px blue outline + box-shadow) is shown on the focused element.
- Form fields have associated labels and password-manager autocomplete tokens.
- Sign-in form is fully translated into the seven supported languages (EN, ES, IT, FR, PT, NL, DE).
- Cookie consent banner respects keyboard, screen-reader, and reduced-motion preferences.
- All informative images carry descriptive
alttext; decorative images use emptyalt. - Listing pages include visible breadcrumb navigation and a structured-data
BreadcrumbListschema. - Animations honour
prefers-reduced-motion: reduce. - Mobile inputs use a font size of 16 px to prevent automatic zoom on iOS.
3. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content is not yet fully accessible. Specifically:
- Tap-target spacing on the listing detail page — some action buttons may have less than 44 × 44 px tap area on small screens. We are working on increasing them.
- Third-party content — some embedded services (maps, analytics, captcha) are provided by third parties and may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. These services load only after consent.
- Auto-translated user-generated content — listing descriptions translated by AI may contain incorrect line-breaks or unusual phrasing for screen readers.
- Some legacy pages — if you encounter a page that does not match the standards above, please report it.
4. How to report an accessibility issue
If you find content that is not accessible, please email [email protected] with the URL and a description of the problem. We aim to acknowledge reports within 5 working days and to fix in-scope issues within 30 working days.
5. Enforcement procedure
If we cannot resolve your issue, you may file a complaint with the Spanish supervisory authority responsible for the European Accessibility Act and Real Decreto 193/2023. Information on the complaint procedure is available from OADIS — Oficina de Atención a la Discapacidad.
6. Technical specifications
The accessibility of fixender.com relies on the following technologies:
- HTML 5
- CSS 3
- JavaScript (ECMAScript 2017+)
- WAI-ARIA
These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
7. Statement preparation
This statement was prepared on 30 April 2026 based on a self-evaluation of the website by Fixender, including manual keyboard, screen-reader and contrast testing on the home, sign-in, listing detail, and city-service landing pages.
The statement is reviewed at least annually or whenever significant changes are made to the platform.
